How is pricing and payment handled?

The price of Goods is outlined in the provided quotation or, if unavailable, in our current price list at the time of Order confirmation. Prices may change, but confirmed Orders are unaffected. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation or suspension of outstanding Orders.

How are notices exchanged between parties?

Notices from you to us must be sent to Alam’s Beautiful Blinds Limited at the provided address. We may provide notice via email or postal address provided in the Order. Notices are deemed received and served within specified timeframes.

Are there any general provisions or disclaimers?

If any provision of the Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining terms remain valid. Our failure to enforce any obligation or right does not waive those rights. These Terms are governed by English Law, and both parties agree to the jurisdiction of English courts. We only accept orders from within the UK, and statutory rights are unaffected by these Terms and Conditions.

How is delivery handled?

Delivery will be made as specified on the Order form. The Order is considered delivered upon our transfer of the Goods to you. If you fail to accept delivery within 5 calendar days, we reserve the right to store the Goods and charge a reasonable fee, unless the delay is due to factors beyond your control or our failure to comply with the agreed terms.

What happens if the Goods are not collected within the specified timeframe?

If you haven’t collected the Goods within two weeks of notification of their readiness, we may dispose of them partially or entirely, charging reasonable storage and insurance fees, along with the cost of the Goods as per the Order form. Unpaid invoices will be referred to our legal department for collection.

What warranties are provided for the Goods?

We warrant that the Goods shall conform in all material respects with their description as outlined in brochures, advertisements, or other documentation. They will be of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose stated by us, free from material defects, and comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements for selling in the United Kingdom. These warranties extend for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery.

How are defective Goods and returns handled?

In the rare event that the Goods do not conform to the Terms, please inform us promptly. We will arrange for collection and, upon confirming the fault, offer a full or partial refund, replacement, or repair as necessary.

What are the cancellation terms for an Order?

By signing the Order, you waive your rights to the cooling-off period under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Payment for Goods is required upon Order placement and is non-refundable due to the customised nature of each item and the immediate commencement of contract performance.

When does ownership of the Goods transfer to the buyer?

The Goods become your responsibility upon delivery. Ownership only transfers to you upon full payment of all sums due, including delivery charges.

What limitations of liability are specified?

We are not liable for losses beyond foreseeable consequences of failing to comply with the Terms, except where prohibited by law. Our liability does not exclude statutory rights or cases of negligence, fraud, or personal injury.

How are events outside of our control addressed?

We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control (Force Majeure Event). Our obligations are suspended during such events, with an extension granted for performance. Reasonable efforts will be made to resolve or mitigate the effects of Force Majeure Events.
